The BC Tundradome is Borderline City’s one and only Ice Hockey stadium, which hosts the Borderline Longwool Socks. It is widely known for making the surrounding area shine as brightly as if it were still midday. Most games start at exactly 5:00 pm. Sadly, because of poor planning by the development agency of the city, the stadium is smack-dab in the middle of Borderline’s business district. The traffic jams that occur during game days has prompted most nearby businesses to provide temporary housing in-building for their employees to stay overnight, until traffic clears out sometime the next day.
The owner of the stadium and team, Lincoln Longwool, has never actually been seen by the populace of BC. At least, none have known if they have. Rumors abound that he is a foreigner.
The team itself, the Borderline Longwool Socks, have a reputation for exuberance, dedication to the game, and drive to succeed. They are not, however, known for winning. In their 20 year history, they have lost all but a single game (their opponents in that match, the Scotland Shortcuts, promptly disbanded in shame shortly after this loss). They are still hugely popular in BC, though nobody can really say why.
